Definately not… I played student politics as a youth, and put me off forever..
The worst kind of politics is the politics of small clubs – where the opportunities for perceived social advancement can turn them into festering viper pits. Next worst are small countries.. and Scotland is a very small country. Shame the best politicians in Scotland are now the Tartan Tories, and they are going to be exterminated at the next election.
